Job Summary
Record and maintain resident information in Yardi, collect application fees, security deposits, and rent per policy, and update available marketing tools. Schedule appointments with prospective applicants, answer phone calls using provided scripts, and notify approved candidates to schedule lease package signings. Prior to starting, you must obtain a driver's license and demonstrate knowledge of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act and Fair Housing Laws. This full-time, day-shift role in the Richmond area requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with at least one year of leasing experience to support United Property Associates' single family division.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of leasing experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA) and Fair Housing Laws
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and reliable
- Can establish relationships quickly and easily with a diverse group of people
- Has a high energy level and great customer service skills
- Goal oriented and results focused
- Property leasing: 1 year (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with Yardi management systems a plus
