Job Summary
Greet, qualify, and tour prospective residents while presenting available units and community amenities. Accurately complete all leasing paperwork, assist with lease signings, and follow up via phone, email, and in-person communication to maximize occupancy. Maintain accurate records in property management software and ensure all activities comply with HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing guidelines. Assist applicants with rental applications and verify income, assets, and household composition for eligibility and recertification. Provide responsive customer service to residents regarding maintenance requests, rent payments, and lease questions, and conduct move-in/move-out inspections as needed. Collect and process rent payments in accordance with company policy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Successful completion of background check
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
- Previous experience in multifamily housing or Project Based HUD property management
- Knowledge of Project Based HUD, Section 8, Fair Housing, and EIV requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in documentation
