Job Summary
Present properties, build rapport, and close leases by greeting prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person. Conduct daily home inspections to ensure units are clean and presentable for tours, then walk prospects through available amenities, local schools, and transportation options. Document all interactions in Yardi PMS software, complete Guest Cards for every contact, and guide customers through application completion for affordable housing eligibility. Adhere to Fair Housing guidelines while participating in off-site marketing initiatives to support occupancy goals. Assist with resident retention efforts and complete projects assigned by the supervisor. This role combines customer service and sales at The Stillwaters, a 180-unit community in Apopka, FL.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent education
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Well-developed people skills
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities and situations in a friendly outgoing and professional manner
- Basic math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, application fees, pet fees, interest, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reasoning ability
- Ability to focus on established goals and sales requirements
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, including 7 days a week as needed
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Sales and / or other customer service experience
- Experiences that translate well include hospitality, restaurant and retail
