Job Summary
Walk marketing tour paths, open target viewing apartments, and ensure units are clean and rent-ready. Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly, converting phone inquiries into walk-in traffic and setting viewing appointments. Tour prospective residents with energy, facilitate the application process, and review all applications immediately upon receipt. Maintain and follow up on traffic in the queue while adhering to daily marketing and leasing strategies. Ensure market-ready apartments, common areas, and amenities meet quality standards. Shop competitive properties monthly. Work in a fast-paced environment with ability to work outside normal hours and travel between properties.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
- Ability to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
- Working knowledge of English
- Detail oriented
- Well organized
- Must agree to a criminal background check
- Must sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
- Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation
- Driver's license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired
- Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed
- Willing and able to be assigned to other Weidner properties as needed
- Must follow Weidner's Mission, Vision and Values
- Must comply with all Weidner policies and procedures
- Must comply with all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws
- Must wear company dress code / uniform & maintain professional appearance
- Must be prompt and have regular attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Yardi and Paycom experience
- Willingness and ability to learn new software programs
