Job Summary
Leasing Consultant serves as the primary sales and customer service representative for the apartment community, greeting prospective residents, identifying housing needs, and presenting the property’s features and benefits to secure lease agreements. The role also provides support with resident relations and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations and high resident satisfaction, contributes to occupancy goals and retention, maintains leasing files, processes applications and leasing documents, conducts outreach marketing and community events, and supports with service requests and notices to vacate. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance (or training within 90 days) and proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Yardi or OneSite) are preferred; strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential; weekend and holiday availability is required. The position is on-site at the assigned apartment community, with some weekend and holiday availability for tours and events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience in multifamily housing preferred.
