Job Summary
Develop full knowledge of application information, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals. Play an active role in the renewal process and maintain an on-going resident retention program under the direction of the Property Manager. Handle resident requests and complaints courteously while ensuring proper maintenance of resident and property files. Process all required administrative forms, reports, and information efficiently. Prepare model and target apartments for showings, maintain clean work areas, and monitor curb appeal. Shop competitive properties to complete market updates and maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets requirements. Participate in property marketing as directed and comply with all industry Fair Housing rules. Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents and operate within OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies.
- Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
- Knowledgeable of current market conditions.
- Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property.
- Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
- Responsible for operating within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
