Job Summary
Greet prospects and residents professionally, secure new tenants, and minimize vacancy rates by conducting property inspections, touring apartments, and closing sales. Process applications, manage lease paperwork, and orient new residents to community rules and amenities. Maintain accurate records in AppFolio, submit regular reporting, and collaborate with the Community Manager on retention programs. Respond to resident complaints with creative solutions and escalate serious concerns as needed. Stay informed on local market trends to implement marketing strategies and promote listings via social media and individual showings. Work M-F 8-5pm with a 10-2pm Saturday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year as a Leasing Consultant in any multifamily, military or student housing environment or 2 years of sales experience in a reputable retail environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have a basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Must be flexible, friendly, and able to multitask in a high-energy environment
