Job Summary
Execute leasing and marketing strategies to drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention by greeting prospects face-to-face, conducting tours, processing applications, and managing lease renewals. Perform daily property inspections to maintain show quality, handle lease enforcement including inspections and collections, and resolve resident complaints promptly. Design offsite marketing activities and analyze market trends to implement growth plans, while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and reporting mechanical issues. Work 40 hours weekly with weekend availability in an office environment with frequent outdoor exposure.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat
- Must be able to work in an office environment but also have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperatures, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment
- Must be able to work peacefully with co-workers and residents
- Must be able to resolve customer complaints and issues
- Must be able to follow the property's established policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy
Desired Qualifications
- Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community
- Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs for reporting purposes
- Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site)
- Communication, Presentation, and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels
