Job Summary
Manage every aspect of the leasing process with prospective tenants, including greeting prospects, presenting community features, guiding tours, and closing sales to maximize occupancy. Demonstrate high customer service to both future tenants and current residents while handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Maintain accurate records of client history, address resident concerns, and coordinate maintenance requests with the Property Manager. Conduct regular community inspections to ensure appearance and repairs, assist in staff training, and provide follow-through on assigned tasks. Work evenings and weekends as requested, achieving Fair Housing certification prior to client interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong sales and/or leasing experience
- High-level of interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain high energy, friendly demeanor, and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform entry to intermediate level mathematic functions without additional personnel assistance
- Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents
- Ability to work evenings and weekends if requested
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification
- Ability to conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Ability to abide by all federal, state, and local laws and any other codes pertaining to apartments and property management
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
