Job Summary
Leasing Consultants handle all leasing, marketing, sales, customer service, resident retention and administrative responsibilities. Cultivate relationships with future and existing residents through in-person, phone, and written communication; conduct tours, answer questions, and offer solutions that meet resident needs. Drive performance through relationship sales with prospects and residents; manage move-in/renewal paperwork; inspect the community and vacant apartments; support site marketing/outreach and resident events; ensure resident satisfaction with follow-up. Requires travel to Southfield, MI for onboarding/training with expenses covered. Starting pay is $18.50/hour, full-time 40 hours/week; benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k), health insurance, life/disability, and relocation/training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years in a customer service or sales oriented role; 6+ months of on-site leasing experience or a combination of customer service and sales experience and education (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior sales ability
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- YARDI experience preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred
- Drug-free workplace with pre-employment background check and drug screening
