Job Summary
Manage the full leasing process for prospective tenants by greeting prospects, touring apartment homes, and closing sales to maximize occupancy. Guide clients through applications and secure lease agreements while demonstrating high customer service to both future tenants and current residents. Maintain accurate records of client history and handle resident concerns with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction. Answer phone, email, and in-person communications professionally and provide follow-through to support ongoing property maintenance. Conduct regular community inspections to ensure repairs are noted and completed, and assist Property Manager staff in achieving operational goals. Work evenings and weekends as requested to meet fast-paced sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong sales and/or leasing experience
- High-level of interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain high energy, friendly demeanor, and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform entry to intermediate level mathematic functions without additional personnel assistance
- Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents
- Ability to work evenings and weekends if requested
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP)
- Conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and any other codes pertaining to apartments and property management
- Drug-free workplace status
- Pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
