Job Summary
Greet prospective residents, showcase model units, and present apartment features tailored to individual needs while managing all leads in the CRM system. Process rental applications, verify employment and references, and prepare accurate lease documentation to support lease renewals and resident retention. Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors by handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and communicating with the maintenance team. Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries while performing administrative duties such as filing, supply ordering, and maintaining resident records. Ensure all leasing documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and assist with online listings and community marketing efforts. Support onsite team goals by coordinating move-in readiness and maintaining occupancy and collection benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in sales, leasing, or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and property management systems
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and ability to apply local and state regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Ability to walk property grounds and climb stairs during tours or inspections for extended periods, frequently up to 30 minutes at a time, totaling approximately 1–2 hours per workday
- Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds, including office and leasing materials
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, up to 2 hours at a time, totaling approximately 5–6 hours per workday while performing leasing and administrative duties
- Ability to frequently use a computer and phone for communication, data entry, and documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in person, by phone, and in writing
- Minimal travel required for onboarding and occasional training at the corporate office in Bloomfield Hills or regional training sites (e.g., Warren, Troy)
