Job Summary
Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective and current residents and handles the full leasing cycle from lead generation to closing. Responsibilities include managing prospect traffic, conducting tours, qualifying applicants, and renewing leases, while delivering strong customer service and maintaining resident relationships. The role requires responding to phone, walk-in, and online leads, supporting resident events and retention initiatives, assisting with administrative tasks, and contributing to marketing efforts. The position is primarily office-based on the property with weekend and holiday flexibility and involves maintaining leasing documentation and meeting renewal goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 6–12 months of related experience or equivalent combination
- Sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and goal-driven
- Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
