Leasing Consultant - Multifamily

Job Summary
Leasing Consultant serves as the primary sales and customer service representative for the apartment community. Responsibilities include greeting prospects, qualifying their housing needs, and presenting the property's features and benefits to secure lease agreements; processing applications and leasing documents; conducting tours; performing outreach marketing; supporting resident relations, lease renewals, notices to vacate, and resident satisfaction efforts; maintaining organized files and logs; and assisting with daily administrative tasks. Requires strong communication and service orientation, knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ADA, and proficiency with property management tools; weekend and holiday availability is required. This role emphasizes occupancy goals, resident retention, and delivering SunRidge’s standards of service and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience in LIHTC/Section 8 and multifamily housing preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance (or must complete training within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (e.g., Yardi or OneSite) preferred
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as needed
