Job Summary
Greet prospects warmly, qualify housing needs, and guide them through apartment tours while presenting community features and benefits. Process applications and leasing documents according to company standards, maintain market knowledge through surveys, and contribute marketing ideas to the Property Manager. Support resident relations by handling inquiries, lease renewals, and service requests to foster retention and satisfaction. Collect rent payments, issue receipts, and maintain organized leasing files, daily traffic logs, and resident interaction records. Assist with property inspections, report service needs, and support the Property Manager with administrative tasks and reporting. This part-time, on-site role requires weekend and holiday availability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift light items daily.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available for weekends and holidays
- Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience in multifamily housing
- Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as needed
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess automobile insurance
- Must possess reliable transportation for work-related travel
- Must be able to walk the property daily
- Must be able to show apartments
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to lift light items
- Must be able to stand frequently
- Must be able to walk frequently
- Must be able to interact with residents and prospects
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance
- Must complete training within 90 days regarding Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance
Desired Qualifications
- New Development Experience
- Class A or B leasing experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
