Job Summary
Leasing Consultant serves as the primary contact for residents and prospective residents, delivering warm, sales-driven customer service while guiding prospects through selecting homes. Responsibilities include processing lease applications, verifying applications, converting leads to leases, performing monthly market surveys, maintaining accurate data in Entrata and related systems, ensuring model homes are in market-ready condition, contributing marketing ideas, assisting with move-ins, and supporting resident moves, renewals, and transfers. The role requires familiarity with the local community, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with the Community Manager to meet leasing goals and uphold Fair Housing standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Multi Family, single family rentals, built to rent, or related property management experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Entrata, Yardi and Revenue Management Software
