Job Summary
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, then build rapport with prospects to identify their apartment needs. Schedule and conduct engaging property tours while communicating features and amenities. Process applications, screen documents, and manage lease paperwork, then walk apartments before move-in to confirm readiness. Proactively contact residents regarding lease renewals and maintain accurate files. Build relationships with referral sources, complete market surveys, and handle maintenance requests. Monitor property appearance and report safety concerns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Strong sales, persuasion, and closing skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional customer service
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage prospects, follow-up activities, appointments, and deadlines
- Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to use company technology, screening tools, and property management systems
- Ability to walk the property, conduct tours, and visually inspect apartments
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- RealPage OneSite experience preferred
