Job Summary
Welcome prospective residents, lead tours of apartments and community features, guide applicants through the full leasing process (applications, screenings, deposits, lease signings, move-ins), and maintain accurate resident files. Enforce renter’s insurance compliance, stay knowledgeable about the local market, implement marketing strategies to generate leads, respond quickly to inquiries, build lasting relationships with prospects and residents, support lease renewals, collaborate with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness, and plan resident events to foster community. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer-service orientation, familiarity with property management software (OneSite or AppFolio a plus), basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and weekend/flexible hours are required or preferred. Represent the community with a polished appearance and positive attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leasing experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-service oriented with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite or AppFolio is a plus
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
