Job Summary
The Lodge at Marlton Leasing Consultant in Upper Marlboro, MD is a full-time role focused on day-to-day leasing and administrative operations. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting residents, conducting property tours, handling leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person, processing rental applications in LIHTC guidelines, maintaining leasing files, assisting with income certifications and recertifications, coordinating with property management staff, supporting marketing to maintain occupancy, delivering exceptional customer service, and leveraging lease-up experience where available. The role requires a 2+ year track record in property management or leasing, LIHTC experience preferred, a sales-oriented mindset, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with office software and property management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of property management experience in a leasing consultant or similar role (required)
- Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) housing strongly preferred
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close leases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and energetic personality
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency with standard office software and property management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
