Job Summary
Show apartments, provide information to prospects via telephone and personal visits, and accurately quote prices. Follow up on all prospects, ensure necessary application paperwork is obtained, and collect deposits and rents. Prepare and review leases for accuracy, inspect apartments for readiness, and maintain an aggressive lease renewal program. Distribute move-in packages and adhere to all Fair Housing and ADA policies. This role supports the leasing goals at The Parker Leland, a conventional lease-up property managed by Fortis Property Management.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of the immediate market and all comparable properties
- Thorough knowledge of the surrounding community
- Prior leasing/sales experience
- Prior experience in a multifamily lease-up phase
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio)
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to successfully Interact with people
- Organizational skills
- Computer literate
- Strong Communication skills both orally and written
- Good decision-making ability
- Proficient sales skills
- Professional image
- Knowledge of and adherence to Fair Housing policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and adherence to ADA policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Prior leasing/sales experience is strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a multifamily lease-up phase strongly preferred
- Proficiency in social media preferred
