Job Summary
Greet and assist prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person; build rapport, present available units, and conduct property tours. Close leases following company standards, provide follow-up to prospects who do not lease immediately, and guide customers through application completion for affordable housing eligibility. Inspect and "sparkle" homes scheduled for tours daily, maintain familiarity with property features and local amenities, and adhere to Fair Housing guidelines. Document all interactions in Yardi PMS software, complete Guest Cards, and support community events and resident retention efforts. Requires ability to work evenings, weekends, and 7 days a week as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent education
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Basic math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, application fees, pet fees, interest, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reasoning ability, and the ability to focus on established goals and sales requirements
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, including 7 days a week as needed
- May require a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Sales and / or other customer service experience
- Experiences that translate well include hospitality, restaurant and retail
- Well-developed people skills
- An ability to work with a variety of personalities and situations in a friendly outgoing and professional manner
