Job Summary
Develop full knowledge of application information, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals while maintaining resident and property files. Play an active role in the renewal process and develop an ongoing resident retention program under the Property Manager's direction. Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, ensuring model and target apartments are ready for show with awareness of curb appeal. Process all required administrative forms, reports, and information timely, staying informed of current rental rates, market conditions, and competitive properties. Participate in property marketing as directed, maintain a professional appearance, and comply with OSHA standards and Fair Housing rules. Report unusual circumstances and ensure all leasing closing ratios meet company requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies.
- Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
- Knowledgeable of current market conditions.
- Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property.
- Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
- Responsible for operating within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

- Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
- Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
