Job Summary
Rent apartments to new prospects and current residents by greeting visitors, touring properties, and closing sales with applications and deposits. Visually inspect the entire property daily for cleanliness, touch up model units, and clean apartments to resident-ready standards while maintaining a complete, neat appearance. Process rental applications, schedule move-ins, prepare lease files, and record resident service requests to assist the service team. Generate traffic through weekly outreach marketing visits, maintain competitor rate surveys, and convert at least 30% of total traffic to leases with follow-up calls within 24 hours. Calculate rent, pro-rata charges, and fees using basic math skills, and assist the Community Director with lease renewals and other assigned tasks. Flexible with weekends, evenings, and holidays; requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of Federal, State and local Fair Housing laws
- Flexible with the work schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays
