Job Summary
Assist with leasing to ensure full lease-up and high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers and managing property availability. Approve rental applications for execution, maintain accurate records compatible with lease renewal reports, and manage property licenses through liaison with legal counsel. Handle resident check-outs, perform inspections of vacated units, and investigate complaints to foster good public relations. Develop advertising and resident retention programs while maintaining courteous communication with residents, applicants, and vendors. Answer telephones and perform general administrative duties such as filing and typing. This role supports the Campus team's mission to provide superb housing for college students since 1958.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Knowledge of and adherence to all federal, state and local laws
- Ability to follow through with all necessary paperwork and ensure all deadlines are met
- Demonstrate a positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude at all times
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while operating in a fast paced environment
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations
- Ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is preferred
- Knowledge of Entrata is preferred
- Accurate in numerical analysis and transfer of related data
- Accurate in preparation of documents to ensure grammatical and legal correctness
