Leasing Consultant (Bi-Lingual)

Job Summary
Coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals while interacting with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure retention. Generate traffic, qualify residents, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork. Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and inspect properties prior to move-ins. Orient residents, process renewals, and maintain accurate traffic records. Follow up via phone, mail, or email to convert traffic into tour appointments. Support resident relations by responding to requests promptly, processing work orders, and assisting with property invoices. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety, alerting maintenance to repairs as needed. Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure daily open/close procedures. Shop competitive properties and assist with resident activities to increase retention. Maintain confidentiality and comply with fair housing laws.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and Spanish
- Ability to use a personal computer and has working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Entrata or other types of on-site accounting software
- Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, 10-key, and key track system
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical and accounting functions
- Ability to read and comprehend reports
- Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions
- Ability to multi-task

- Must be available to work on-call or when needed due to staffing shortages
- Willing to participate in social media content creation as needed
- Some travel may be required
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
