Job Summary
Generate traffic and respond to inquiries, tour prospective residents, and close sales by obtaining applications and deposits. Visually inspect the property daily, process rental applications, and maintain lease files per policy. Conduct weekly outreach marketing visits, follow up with prospects within 24 hours, and assist with community marketing plans to convert at least 30% of traffic to leases. Manage resident communications, coordinate events, and handle lease renewals by contacting residents prior to term expiration. Collect fees, calculate rent and prorated charges, and schedule move-ins while keeping competitor rate surveys updated. Maintain office systems, operate the alarm, and ensure all Chartwell University training is completed on time.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stoop, crouch, reach, and stand
- Ability to walk, talk, hear, and see with close visual acuity
- Ability to key data
- Ability to drive a golf cart
- Ability to drive to client and/or corporate locations
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws
- Multiplication, division, addition and subtraction skills
Desired Qualifications
- Four (4) year degree
- Degree in business, hospitality, marketing or property management
- At least one (1) year leasing experience
- Good organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and sales skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to represent oneself and the company in a professional manner
