Job Summary
Leasing Consultant responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and managing the full leasing process from application to move-in. This role supports retention and renewal efforts by maintaining up-to-date resident files, coordinating with maintenance, and conducting follow-up communications with prospects and residents. It also involves marketing and visibility tasks such as promoting the property through outreach, monitoring advertising platforms, and preparing market surveys to analyze leasing trends. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills, familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing policies, basic computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Weekend availability is required and the role contributes to occupancy goals within Arlington Properties’ collaborative, service-oriented culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- One or more years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing policies
- Basic computer proficiency; comfort with digital tools
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends
