Job Summary
Present properties, build rapport, and close leases via phone, email, text, and in-person tours while adhering to Fair Housing guidelines. Inspect and sparkle homes daily to ensure they are presentable for prospective residents. Guide customers through application completion, collect required documentation for affordability eligibility, and accurately enter interaction data into Yardi PMS software. Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects who do not lease immediately and participate in off-site marketing activities to support occupancy goals. Assist with resident retention efforts and complete projects assigned by the supervisor. Requires ability to work evenings, weekends, and 7 days a week as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent education
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Basic math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, application fees, pet fees, interest, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reasoning ability, and the ability to focus on established goals and sales requirements
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, including 7 days a week as needed
- May require a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Sales and / or other customer service experience
- Experiences that translate well include hospitality, restaurant and retail
- Well-developed people skills
- An ability to work with a variety of personalities and situations in a friendly outgoing and professional manner
