Job Summary
Greet prospects via phone, email, and walk-ins; conduct property tours tailored to resident needs and budget. Process rental applications by verifying income and performing background checks, then prepare and finalize lease agreements. Manage lease renewals and assist with move-ins, ensuring all paperwork and deposits are secured before granting keys. Inspect model and market-ready apartments for cleanliness, preparing work orders for deficiencies while maintaining curb appeal. Answer incoming calls, transfer inquiries appropriately, and handle resident requests with courtesy. Retrieve and store golf carts daily, enter guest cards accurately, and maintain a clean office environment. Stay updated on rent, pricing, and market trends to contribute to community marketing and resident satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2+ years in leasing, property management, retail sales, hospitality, or customer service
- Proficient in leasing/property-management software (e.g. Yardi, AppFolio, MRI)
- strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication, sales, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and adapt to busy seasonal cycles
- Valid drivers license
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and ethical leasing practices
