Job Summary
Leasing Consultant role focused on promoting the apartment community, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, conducting property tours, answering questions about the community, and qualifying applicants. Responsibilities include interviewing prospective residents to determine needs and qualifications for renting, handling inquiries and directing callers, retrieving and distributing voicemails, following up with prospects, maintaining tour routes for cleanliness and curb appeal, preparing application packets, and staying informed about the community and amenities relative to competing listings. Requires strong literacy in English, high school diploma or GED, 3-6 months related experience, and a valid state driver’s license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., One-Site, Real Page) is expected, along with authorization to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: Three to six months of related experience and/or training
- Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Issued Drivers License
- Other Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Property Management software (i.e. One-Site, Real Page)
- English literacy including reading
