Job Summary
Leasing Consultant coordinates rental activities, conducts tours, prepares lease and renewal documents, and supports resident services and marketing efforts to achieve maximum occupancy. Responsibilities include heavy customer service and sales interaction with prospective and current residents, data-entry and reporting using Yardi Property Management software, coordinating move-ins/move-outs/lease renewals, and assisting with resident events and listings updates. Requires strong communication, multitasking, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; weekend and holiday work may be required. May involve assisting with advertisements and maintaining property compliance and records.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in affordable housing/LIHTC multi-family property preferred, not required.
- Experience in sales or administrative and accounting assistance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgement and maintain confidentiality.
- Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task with a strong attention to detail.
