Job Summary
Leasing Consultant role responsible for responding to inquiries/leads, marketing, leasing and renewing apartment leases in accordance with Company standards and Fair Housing guidelines; represents BH professionally and delivers strong customer service. Responsibilities include daily marketing, administrative and financial operations of the property, knowledge of local market and floor plans, processing lease applications for approval, touring prospects, inspecting units and move-in readiness, utilizing third-party online leasing programs, logging prospect information in property management software, handling emails/voicemail/texts, promoting leasing incentives, and participating in inspections and communications as needed. Required skills include customer-service experience, proven sales and closing ability, excellent organization and communication, ability to work with a diverse group, and a state leasing license or ability to obtain it. Schedule is Monday-Friday with potential overtime; this is an on-site, entry-level opportunity in a property-management setting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing/customer service role
- Demonstrated sales and closing skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people
- State leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law
