Job Summary
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for maintaining occupancy above 95%, providing a positive experience to residents, and using consultative selling skills to achieve community occupancy. Qualifications include 1-2 years of leasing experience, Fair Housing certification, and strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years on-site as a Leasing Consultant and/or Assistant Property Manager
- Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents
- Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems
- Effectively convey ideas, images, and goals to a diverse group of personalities
- Positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances
- Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws
- Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with OneSite software
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
- Compete in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as community software applications
