Job Summary
Leasing & Compliance Coordinator supports housing operations by maintaining Section 8, HASA, and LIHTC leasing compliance, overseeing intake and renewal processes, and coordinating with case managers, property managers, and residents. Responsibilities include ensuring audit-ready lease files, generating HASA/HRA reports, managing CAPS and SSR data, coordinating lease-ups and renewals, and maintaining clear communication with applicants and staff to ensure move-in readiness and ongoing compliance. Requires 2+ years in affordable housing or related fields, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), knowledge of NYC housing subsidies and regulatory frameworks, and proficiency with property management software (Yardi preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years in affordable housing, property management, or supportive housing
- COS or Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certifications preferred
- Proficiency with property management software (prefer Yardi)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage regulatory reporting and audits
- Experience with Section 8, LIHTC, HASA, and Fair Housing compliance
- Detail-oriented with ability to ensure audit-ready files
Desired Qualifications
