Job Summary
Conduct leasing activities by signing leases, collecting deposits, and managing applications for public housing developments. Perform daily duties including answering inquiries, conducting tours, promoting community amenities, and maintaining occupancy for assisted housing tenants. Complete move-out procedures per policy, manage resident files, and handle complaints with courteous efficiency. Market the property effectively while ensuring work areas and common spaces remain clean and orderly. Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, community policies, and HUD regulations. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and Saturdays to meet business needs. Candidates must possess 1+ years of tax credit experience and familiarity with low-income housing programs.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years tax credit experience
- Property leasing, sales and/or customer experience
- HUD rules and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of low-income housing programs
- Excellent follow up skills via email and phone
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to use mobile devices and applications for work-related tasks
- A flexible schedule is required and hours include weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays) as needed to meet business needs
- Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires
- A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
