Job Summary
Execute all sales and leasing activities, including welcoming, qualifying potential residents, and conducting property tours. Ensure model units meet marketing standards, communicate maintenance needs, and accurately record inquiries via phone and in person. Oversee application, lease, and move-in/out processes while utilizing software to monitor availability. Develop and implement marketing strategies, conduct outreach initiatives, and document promotional efforts across platforms like Craig's List and Google. Distribute newsletters and flyers to drive traffic. Achieve exceptional occupancy rates and enhance resident retention by building strong connections with prospective and current residents, clients, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in apartment leasing or sales
- Previous experience in apartment leasing or a customer service-oriented field (such as retail or hospitality)
- Strong communication skills to complete documentation effectively and engage with residents
- Proven sales abilities, including lead generation, presentations, prospect qualification, and closing techniques
- Basic math skills to calculate prorated rents and deposits
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office for generating reports and creating marketing materials
- Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws

- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification
