Job Summary
The Leasing & Occupancy Supervisor oversees the eligibility application processing and annual recertification for approximately 2,000 apartments, ensuring compliance with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program and other affordable housing regulations. This role involves training staff on compliance procedures, monitoring recertification reports, and assisting with property management policies. The position requires excellent communication skills and supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred
- 4 years of experience with affordable housing leasing and recertification processes
- 4 years of supervisory experience in a Property Management setting
Desired Qualifications
- Certified in LIHTC Compliance
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Docs/Spreadsheets.
- Strong knowledge of YARDI is a plus, but not required
- Commitment to continuous learning to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current rules and regulations
Additional Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license, insurance as required by law and an acceptable driving record
