Job Summary
Welcome prospective residents, assist with viewing and touring properties, and provide accurate information about each apartment home. Properly process rental applications, secure lease agreements from qualified persons, and assist with lease renewals as required. Maintain occupancy levels per owner expectations, exhibit professional leasing techniques, and ensure all online marketing sources are updated daily. Complete monthly market surveys, analyze data, and promote resident retention programs while prioritizing customer needs and move-in orientation. Maintain appropriate resident files, ensure document confidentiality, and assist with reporting requirements. Report timely injuries, illnesses, or property damage, and document facility maintenance needs to ensure timely completion. Conduct all duties in accordance with Fair Housing Laws and Company policy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management
- Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate
- Valid Driver's License
- a good driving record
- current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet, social media)
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
- LIHTC experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, retail, sales, or customer service will also be considered
