Job Summary
As a Leasing Agent, you will engage with prospective residents, conduct property tours, explain lease terms, guide applicants through the leasing process, maintain records of leasing activities and resident interactions, and deliver exceptional customer service to current and potential residents. The role emphasizes LIHTC knowledge, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team within Princeton Management's professional, inclusive environment. A focus on understanding local rental market trends, regulations, and property management software is important to success.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in leasing or real estate is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with the Low-Income Housing credit (LIHTC)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of local rental market trends and regulations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management software
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in real estate or property management are advantageous
