Job Summary
Greet, assist, and tour potential residents to help them find their dream apartment, while building rapport with current tenants to support renewals. Show off move-in-ready units with enthusiasm, answer questions, and ensure move-in days are seamless. Work closely with the team to hit leasing goals, maintaining top-notch customer service throughout the process. Schedule includes Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during peak business hours, with weekly closing shifts. Requires a high school diploma, previous property management experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Previous property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales
- Natural disposition for sales and understanding of sales techniques and processes
- Must work on the heaviest traffic days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and Sundays on an as-needed basis) and Holidays during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly
- Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Able to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs to perform functions in various weather conditions and variable climates
Desired Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
