Job Summary
Leasing Agent responsibilities include welcoming prospective residents, assisting with property viewings, providing accurate information about apartment homes, processing rental applications, and securing lease agreements. The role supports lease renewals as required and ensures compliance with Fair Housing Laws and company policy, aligning with client objectives and budgeting. Daily duties span client relations, professional communication with applicants and residents, maintaining occupancy levels, assisting with marketing efforts (online listings and market surveys), and handling reporting, risk management, and facility maintenance tasks. The position is based out of Nampa and Boise, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a compensation range of $18–$20 per hour plus monthly commissions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required
- Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet, social media)
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
