Job Summary
Lead property tours and presentations with detailed knowledge of each community. Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws. Develop strong relationships with prospects and residents to foster retention and referrals. Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies that increase occupancy rates. Prepare accurate lease agreements ensuring documentation meets company policies and legal requirements. Mentor and train junior leasing staff as needed. This hourly role offers a 35% rent discount, PTO, and performance bonuses based on new leases and renewals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years of leasing experience in residential property management or related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven track record in residential leasing with comprehensive knowledge of leasing procedures and legal compliance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Commitment to delivering outstanding service
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior team members
