Job Summary
Show and lease apartments in accordance with regulatory agreements and Volunteers of America policies. Process applications by conducting interviews, obtaining verifications, calculating income/assets, and entering data into property management software while confirming rent accuracy. Execute lease documents, assist with recertifications, and manage rent/utility collections and delinquency notices. Maintain applicant waitlists and resident files, compile documents for annual audits, and monitor the property to resolve minor issues or escalate serious ones. Collaborate with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life. Volunteers of America Colorado is a nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in-need transform their lives through more than 50 distinct human service programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- one-year administrative/clerical office experience
- Knowledge of computer operations to include basic data entry
- Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employee
- Basic math aptitude
