Job Summary
Leasing Agent/Leasing Consultant responsible for marketing the community and achieving high occupancy. Acts as the first impression, guides prospects from initial contact through application and move-in, conducts property tours, processes applications and lease paperwork, and handles inquiries and resident relations. Duties include responding to phone/email inquiries, scheduling appointments, collecting deposits and rent, completing guest cards, maintaining daily traffic data, following up with maintenance requests, and supporting lease renewals and resident retention initiatives. Requires strong customer service, professional communication, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort with walking and stairs as part of daily duties. Familiarity with market surveys, competitive analysis, social media monitoring, and standard property management software is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales or retail position
- Previous leasing experience is preferred
- Experience using Onesite or other related property management accounting software is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to conduct property tours and guide residents through the move-in process
- Ability to walk and climb stairs daily
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
