Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day leasing activities for The Yards at Union Station, including greeting prospects, touring units, and answering inquiries while adhering to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws. Coordinate cleaning and repairs for vacant units with Community Manager and Maintenance Staff, inspect model and available units, and communicate service needs. Complete applications, secure deposits, and process approvals; negotiate move-in dates and orient new residents. Monitor renewals, review tenant billings, analyze lease clauses, and collect rent payments. Maintain positive resident relations by responding to concerns and managing emergency situations. Record all visits, file guest cards, and update availability reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in customer service, sales, marketing or a college degree in a related field
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Possess strong technology, internet and general computer use skills and willingness to learn new programs as needed
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required
