Lease Up Occupancy Specialist

Oversee lottery and pre-application processes within city, state, and federal regulations, communicating with prospects via email, phone, fax, and in person to maintain waiting lists. Complete application interviews, process eligibility files, and execute lease signings in accordance with PPI policies and affordable housing program rules. Coordinate unit inspections with housing authorities and assist site staff in preparing for first-year audits and recertifications. Provide on-site coverage for emergencies, crises, and staff turnover situations as needed. This role supports the lease-up of affordable and mixed-income communities north of Boston, managing the full lifecycle from initial marketing through resident move-in. Candidates must have prior experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Section 8, or similar programs, along with a thorough comprehension of Fair Housing Laws.
