Job Summary
Track production and pressures for assigned wells, perform general inspections, and execute maintenance, equipment repairs, and replacements. Operate pumping systems including tank gauging, heater/treaters, and 3-phase separators while identifying potential problems. Monitor and record well information such as production rates, pressures, temperatures, and injection volumes to ensure regulatory compliance. Work at well sites, oil and gas facilities, and pipeline systems including production tank batteries and CO2 recycle compression facilities. Plunger and gas lift experience is required. Local candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Brookhaven, MS.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- Plunger and gas lift experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to satisfy Department of Justice requirements with or without assistance
- Working knowledge of mechanical applications
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently under little supervision
- Basic math skills
- Responsible and diligent
- Safety-conscious
- Personal computer experience or willingness to learn
- Previous oilfield experience
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius
- Local candidates preferred
