Job Summary
Conduct well operations, gas lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation, and compressor maintenance in Three Rivers, Tilden, and George West, TX. Proactively monitor equipment performance, take readings, issue work permits, and interface with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates. Operate and optimize artificial lift systems including wellhead compression, gas lifts, and plunger lift while gathering data for engineering requests. Requires 3-5+ years of oil and gas experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work weekends, be on call, and travel across geographic locations. No sponsorship available; candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius or relocate with a travel trailer.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment and terminology
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to work weekends and be on call
- Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions
- Work in several different geographic locations each day
- Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks
- Walk, bend, stoop and lift
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
