Job Summary
Conduct horizontal well operations, gas lifted wells, ESPs, three phase separation, and gas compression while performing minor maintenance on valves and pumps. Prepare for and execute maintenance tasks, including taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, initiating work requests, and interfacing with support groups. Proactively monitor well and equipment performance to maximize production, optimize chemical pump rates based on data, and track test compression and fluid levels using echo meters. Requires 3+ years of experience with artificial lift systems and basic decision-making skills. Full-time role in Big Spring, TX with health benefits and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- 3 + years working as a lease operator/pumper with artificial lift systems
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
Desired Qualifications
- Production computer software knowledge a plus
