Job Summary
Track production and pressures for all wells on assigned routes, perform general well inspections, and execute maintenance, equipment repairs, and replacements while reporting health or safety issues. Operate pumping skills including tank gauging, heater/treaters, and 3-phase separators, and identify potential problems with production equipment. Monitor and record well information such as production rates, pressures, and temperatures, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Work on all types of production equipment, pump valves, and injection systems in a reliable and efficient manner. Plunger and gas lift experience is required. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Alvin/Hastings, TX, with no per diem or lodging provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must live within a 50 mile radius
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Plunger and gas lift experience is required
- Working knowledge of mechanical applications
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently under little supervision
- Basic math skills
- Responsible and diligent
- Safety-conscious
- Personal computer experience or willingness to learn
- Previous oilfield experience
- No supervisory responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to satisfy Department of Justice requirements with or without assistance
